Bismit Nayak

Paralegal Intern

Bio

For any successful film or theatre production, the people behind the scenes are just as important as those on stage or in front of the camera. And so it is with estate planning at Amadeus.

Bismit is one of our unsung heroes. Originally joining us as an intern, he quickly proved his worth through his diligent, inquisitive, and ethical approach to the work he carries out on clients' files. Whether he's dealing with wills, lasting powers of attorney, title deeds, or insurance forms, we benefit from his analytical thinking skills, well-honed ability to meet deadlines, and his fun-loving sense of humour.

Alongside his work for Amadeus, Bismit is pursuing a master's degree in law at Queen Mary University of London, specializing in comparative and international dispute resolution. He has a bachelor's degree in law and business administration from Amity University Kolkata, in India, where he published a paper on the myths and reality of the rule of law.

Bismit loves to travel and explore new places and cuisines. What might surprise you is what he considers the most beautiful place in the world.

Not his hometown of Baripada in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, a city surrounded by lush green forests and known for its ancient temples and rich cultural heritage.

Not Kolkata where he studied for 5 years, immersing himself in its unique local culture, celebrating festivals like Durga Puja, and indulging in delicious Bengali dishes such as machher jhol and mishti doi.

No, the place that enchants him lies in these isles. Thanks to its scenic beauty, people, architecture, and food (no joke), it's Northern Ireland that has captured his imagination. If you've also been there, you can probably understand why.
