Wayne Russell
Senior Legal Adviser
Bio
What might surprise you about Wayne - an "informative, impartial and friendly" estate planning consultant with a knack for building easy rapport - is how shy he used to be as an individual. He credits meeting a gentleman called Gunjan Agrawal with bringing him out of his shell and coaching him to become the confident, personable communicator he is today.
A product of South Wales, Wayne loves helping families and is passionate about educating people on the importance of estate planning. He is a member of the Society of Will Writers and became a legal adviser because he wanted to help others avoid going down the road members of his own family took.
For 11 years and counting, clients in the wills and trusts sector have benefitted from Wayne's excellent communication skills, "honest, constructive advice", and ability to deal with "such an emotive and sensitive subject kindly and with professionalism". They remark on how he is "easy to talk to and not pushy". How he presents information clearly and "makes the process easy to understand". How he "makes you feel at ease making these important decisions in life".
Wayne has been happily married to Jodie for 17 years. They live with their teenage daughter and - as Wayne affectionately describes them - two fat cats. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time on the golf course with his family and friends or roaring on his beloved Manchester United.
16 years ago, Wayne was due to be a contestant on BBC One's The Apprentice but chose to attend the birth of his daughter instead. Lord Sugar's loss is very much Amadeus's gain.
